Exploring ViewSpot Studio

When you first log in to ViewSpot Studio, the Projects landing page displays. 

Common items across all ViewSpot Studio pages include: 

Menu bar

Tooltips

Breadcrumbs

Tip: To return to the landing page from anywhere in ViewSpot Studio, click the logo.

Menu Bar

ViewSpot Studio’s menu bar lets you quickly navigate its features.

Note: You may see only a subset of these menu bar options based on your price plan and user role.

Projects

Displays a page for viewing and creating a Project. Projects identify the various in-store marketing campaigns and consist of one or more visual Experiences presented to customers when they explore a device.

Content Management

Submenus under this menu option let you configure the devices, retail stores, store groups, assets, and fonts used to create visual Experiences for a Project. Additional options let you configure policies for provisioning devices, and submit Experiences for review prior to publishing.

Pricing

Displays a page for creating pricing information for a stand-alone Price Card or an Experience.

User Management

Displays a page for creating and managing ViewSpot Studio user accounts.

Analytics

Displays a page for viewing ViewSpot analytics reports.

User Options

Click the gear icon to access these options:

Select your email address to view your user profile.

 Select Data Usage to view your current data usage.

Select Help to access the ViewSpot Studio Help system.

Select About to view the ViewSpot Studio version number and copyright information.

Select Logout to log out of ViewSpot Studio.

Note: The Admin Settings options are not documented in this guide.

Data Usage

Click the icon to view messages about your data usage. 

Note: The icon only appears if you have data usage alerts.

The icon color indicates data usage:

White Bell: 20% or more (up to 80%) of your monthly data allotment has been used.

Red Bell: 80% or more of your monthly data allotment has been used.

Note: Click the data usage message to view additional details.

Note: Once you use 100% of your monthly data allotment, you will be charged for additional data in increments of 1 TB of data. For example, if you use an additional 1.5 TB over your monthly allotment, you will be charged for 2 TB of data. For more information, see View Data Usage.

Tooltips

Several icons have associated tooltips that display brief descriptions when you hover the mouse over the icon. For example:

                 

Breadcrumb Navigation

ViewSpot Studio provides links (breadcrumbs) that let you navigate back to previously visited pages in the current work session. Breadcrumbs appear below the title bar as shown in this example:

Manage Stores Data

Selecting Content Management > Stores from the menu bar displays a screen for uploading and managing data for your retail stores. 

Note: If stores data has already been uploaded to the ViewSpot Studio database, the Stores Data View displays instead of the screen shown below.
